EXPERIENCED PRODUCER/ACCOUNT MANAGER

FULL TIME, IMMEDIATE START

SALARY: COMPETITIVE

We are Improper, an agency that specialise in putting people at the heart of the story by building authentic communications that activate genuine social and environmental change. We challenge conventional narratives through creative communication, specifically around structural inequality and work with bold clients who are prepared to take an honest look in the mirror and open to asking “Could we do this better?”.

We are a small team and growing fast, so we are looking for a candidate to hit the ground running as you take on briefs, communicate feedback, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, overseeing all stages of the production process and ensuring projects are delivered to the top-quality standard. You will also understand the unique requirements of working for a small agency.

This role is fully remote, but you will need to travel to HQ in London when required as we like to meet regularly face to face.

BENEFITS

Flexi-time working: We understand that people work best at different times in the day and so we have office hours that are completely flexible outside of 10-4pm

A four day week: We only work one Friday every month to allow for a better work/life balance and better work fulfillment.

DAY TO DAY

Account management: Connecting with purpose-driven clients and consulting on all the strategic and creative elements of their projects. Making resourceful decisions and driving forward what is best for the client. This will include constantly improving knowledge and upskilling on key issues related to the projects. For example, keeping up to date with the developments in climate policy or LGBTQ+ rights.

Research: Carrying out research (e.g conducting stakeholder interviews, surveys or desk research) to form part of strategies and activations.

Production: Working with the creative team to brief and collaborate on bringing strategies, creative and campaigns to fruition. This could be working across everything from digital and events to a long-form film. Experience in shoot production is ideal.

Creative development: We are a creative agency and at our core all our people need to be creative or at least love working with creatives. You will be involved in brainstorming ideas and working alongside the creative team to deliver the work.

Copywriting: Writing clear and concise copy for a range of different mediums - pitch decks, scripts, websites, social media - that inform, engage, and resonate with target audiences. You will understand the tone of voice and messaging the project needs and translate this into effective and intuitive written content.

YOUR STRENGTHS

Project management: 3+ years’ experience in account management and or production, managing clients and other key stakeholders. You will be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent communication skills. You will have an eye for detail with excellent self-motivation.

Building relationships: Adopting a solutions-focused approach to client account management, creating valuable connections and friendships with our partners.

Digital: So much of what we do now connects to digital platforms. You will be familiar and confident with digital account handling. Advanced knowledge of social platform fundamentals, methodologies, and techniques (including analytics, monitoring, and publishing software).

Striving for excellence: In everything you do, be it a presentation or an email, you will strive to make it the best it can be. You will take an entrepreneurial attitude to your work and be excited about being part of a young agency that is growing.

Briefing and budgets: Having worked on a variety of projects with varying budgets you will understand how to listen to what a client wants, budget it correctly and then turn it into a succinct, clear brief.

THE CHERRY ON TOP
